Christmas-New Year Prayer-Poems, Huangshan
Each Christmas-New Year period Sri Chinmoy travels to various countries with his students. A selection of the 95 morning prayers that were offered during Sri Chinmoy's visit to Huangshan and Nanjing, China in January and February 2005, are listed below. To date the Christmas Vacation-Prayer series number over 39 Parts with over 3,100 prayers.

I see my Lord dancing
Inside
His own Infinity's Smile.
When I stopped looking
At the face of expectation,
A mighty transformation
Took place in my life.
I must love
The unloved ones -
I must.
Faith has the capacity
To pass through
The darkest tunnels.
Pure thoughts
Have enormous capacity
To turn our vices
Into virtues.
The present-day life
Is made of
Superficialities.
A good thought
Can easily champion
A good cause for us.
We must discard
All our regrets -
Past and present.
Cheerfulness
Is the very beginning
Of a fulness-life.
Everything else
Can be divided,
But not our devotion.
Our devotion
Has to be undivivded.
My heart feels miserable
The day it fails to keep
Its closest connection
With my soul.
Sympathy has to be
The living philosophy
Of each seeker's life.
Selfless service
And intense prayer -
There is no difference.
Silence and peace
Every day visit
Each other.
Each inner seeking
Needs
A new inner way.
God wants every seeker
To be his own
Pathfinder.
Humanity can move forward
Fast, very fast,
If it can listen to the dictates
Of the Divinity within.
