Passages from Meditation
Meditation tells us only one thing: God is. Meditation reveals to us only one truth: ours is the vision of God.
Meditation
is the language of God. If we want to know what God's Will is in our
life, if we want God to guide us, mould us and fulfil Himself in and
through us, then meditation is the language that we must use.
From
the spiritual point of view, every seeker is a beginner. The moment you
want to make constant and continual progress, at that moment you become
an eternal beginner.
Meditation is a divine gift.
Meditation simplifies our outer life and energises our inner life.
Meditation gives us a natural and spontaneous life, a life that becomes
so natural and spontaneous that we cannot breathe without being
conscious of our own divinity.
A soulful heart has discovered a supreme truth: to meditate on God is a privilege and not a duty.
Slowly and steadily if you can still your restless mind, immediately and cheerfully God will open His measureless Heart.
I am so proud of my mind. Why? Because it has started enjoying little things: a simple thought, a pure heart, a humble life.
Do you want to be happy? Then do not over-estimate the power of your mind and do not under-estimate the light of your heart.
We
concentrate with the mind's illumining one-pointedness. We meditate
with the heart's expanding vastness. We contemplate with the soul's
fulfiling oneness.
Our prayer gives us a peaceful life. Our meditation gives us a beautiful heart.
