Meditation and prayer

Prayer is purity. It purifies our mind. The mind is always ssubject to doubt, fear, worry and anxiety. It is always assailed by wrong thoughts and wrong movements. When we pray, purification takes place in our mind, and purity increases our God-receptivity.
Meditation is luminosity. It illumines our heart. When illumination takes place in our heart, insecurity and the sense of want disappear. When our heart is illumined, the finite in us enters into the Infinite and becomes the Infinite itself.

You do not need a cave
To pray to God.
You do not need a forest
To meditate on God.
What you need, you already have
In abundant quality and quantity.
Your loving, self-giving heart
Is all you need,
And you will always have it.
